In what is great news for all players and supporters of Georges River, we are delighted to announce that Club Rivers has joined the team and will provide much needed sponsorship support for the coming season. Recently renovated, Club Rivers offers something for everyone. Most importantly for us, it has a great Bistro for after match meals, as well as rooms available for our functions. | Georges River Receives Government Grant | updated July 19, 2010 |
Through the hard work of the Committee, we have been lucky enough to receive a grant from the Federal Government through the Small Equipment Volunteer Grants Scheme. These grants are limited to various items, and do not cover things such as construction of buildings. As such, the Club will be purchasing a lap top, multi function printer, a new BBQ and gas bottle, new number modules for the scoreboards and training aids. |
